MORTH sets up Technical Cell to assist Highway Administration

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) has set up a Technical Cell to assist the Highway Administration Cell. Accordingly, R K Pandey, Advisor (T) and former Chief Engineer MORTH and Member (Project), NHAI, Dr Sewa Ram HOD, Transport Planning at School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi are part of the cell. The cell will examine the relaxation proposals for access permission for fuel stations’ private property, industrial property and also advice on the amendments deemed necessary in the extant guidelines and circulate  keeping in consideration the paramount concern of road safety.
