MP cadre IAS officer, Pramod Agrawal to succeed A K Jha as CMD, Coal India

A 1991 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, Pramod Agrawal has been selected for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Coal India Limited (CIL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on August 27, 2019. He is likely to succeed incumbent Anil Kumar Jha retiring in January, 2020. As many as five candidates including two IAS officers were interviewed for the same.
