MP DGP Kailash Makwana to Retire on November 30 UPDATED

The Madhya Pradesh government has issued an order fixing November 30, 2026 (afternoon), as the retirement date of DGP Kailash Makwana, a 1988-batch IPS officer. The order, issued by the Home Department on October 28, states that the decision follows Supreme Court orders dated September 22, 2006, and July 3, 2018, in a related petition. Makwana has been serving as Director General of Police and Head of Police Force, Madhya Pradesh, since December 1, 2024.
