MP Police celebrating Establishment Day

Director General of Police Vivek Johri said that today as Madhya Pradesh Police Establishment Day, we are celebrating the memories of our glorious golden history in the form of a celebration. First of all, in 1854, the first Commissioner of Nagpur region, Mansel, started the process of reorganization of the police. Madhya Pradesh was formed on November 1, 1956 as a result of change over time in which 17 districts (Mahakaushal) of old CP&Berar state, Vindhya Pradesh, Bhopal state, Sironj section of Kota district of Rajasthan and Madhya Bharat were included. He said that in the glorious history of Madhya Pradesh Police, the performance of the last 65 years has been commendable. The police have met every challenge of internal security with utmost efficiency. We have brought new dimensions to technological innovation in these years of upgradation and changing circumstances. The efficient leadership and guidance of the present Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made the police resourceful, polite, people-oriented and more sensitive. In the program, police personnel were honored with the gallantry medals announced on 26 January 2021, President's Vishisht Seva Medal and Meritorious Service Medal, Jeevan Raksha Padak and 32 bore pistol on August 15, 2020 and January 26, 2021.
