Mangalore Refineries & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is expected to register yet another loss of over Rs 5000 crore this year. Last year, the Company recorded a loss of Rs 5400 crore. The MRPL, which was in profit of Rs 3500 crore during the tenure of former MD, H Kumar, slid into decline since the present incumbent M Venkatesh took the mantle of the company on June 1, 2018. Whisper has it that the Government of India may go for change of guard.
