Mrs Jaya Verma Sinha becomes first ever woman Chairperson & CEO, Railway Board
Mrs Jaya Verma Sinha, Member (Operations & Business Development), Railway Board, has been appointed first ever woman Chairperson & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Railway Board with effect from September 1, 2023. Mrs Sinha, who belongs to an IRMS officer, succeeded Anil Kumar Lahoti.
