In the midst of wild media reports about the resignation of RBI Governor Urjit Patel, in the corridors of power name of SEBI Chief Ajay Tyagi has already started doing the round as his successor. He is 1983 batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre. In view of the experiences, the Government is in a mood only to appoint an IAS officer as RBI Governor.
