Navy inducts INS Nipun to augment its submarine-support capability

The Indian Navy commissioned INS Nipun, the second Nistar-class Diving Support Vessel, at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, on August 31. Built by Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, the vessel significantly strengthens deep-sea diving, submarine-support, underwater repair and rescue capabilities.
