NCPCR charts comprehensive strategy for child protection

During the tenure of Mrs Stuti Kacker , Chairperson, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) a comprehensive strategy was adopted for greater media including social media interaction to bring child issues at centre stage. The Commission has produced, Handbook for Media professionals besides creating Radio spots/jingles along with exhibition of Audio Visual message of Union Minister for Women and Child Development in movie halls; a film on POCSO e-box had been exhibited. This apart, generating awareness through hoardings on prevention of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) in Children Parks had been put up besides Standees at 67 Airports, during Oorja Programme. Posters had been put up at Delhi Metro Trains and campaign had been carried out with Ministry of Railways on child safety. The NCPCR is having greater interaction with  State Commissions for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCRs) besides a large number of other initiatives taken by the Commission.
