New CBI Chief (1)

Acting CBI Chief Praveen Sinha is all set to become Special Director in a months time as he has been empanelled to the rank of DG in the Government of India. Gujarat cadre 1988 batch IPS officer Praveen Sinha is currently interim Chief of the CBI. Before Sinha, J.K. Dutta, Rakesh Asthana and M. Nageswar Rao had  also been CBI's Interim Chiefs in last 16 years.
