New Govt to decide extension of BHEL CMD Atul Sobti

The new Government at the Centre will take decision on the extension of Atul Sobti as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)? Sobti, who donned the mantle in January 2016, is due to retire in June this year. According to sources, though Sobti is seeking extension, the Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) is not in favour.
