New Leadership at Pawan Hans: Sunil Kumar Nagdawne Takes Charge

Sunil Kumar Nagdawne assumed charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Pawan Hans Limited (PHL) on Friday, bringing over three decades of rich experience in aviation, infrastructure, and operational excellence.

A former General Manager (Aviation) at Indian Oil Corporation, Nagdawne has led critical fuel operations and airport infrastructure projects. An engineering graduate from NIT Bhopal with an MBA from NMIMS Mumbai, he has also completed executive programmes at IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta.

Expressing his vision, Nagdawne pledged to strengthen safety, innovation, and customer service at the Mini Ratna PSU, which has been India’s premier helicopter services provider since 1985, connecting remote regions and supporting national priorities. Stakeholders welcomed his appointment with optimism.
