New roller skating track inaugurated at NLCIL, Neyveli

A Roller Skating Ground with a 200 m Track was inaugurated by Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL in the presence of K Mohan Reddy, Dir/P&P, Dr. Suresh Chandra Suman, Dir/Mines & Fin. (AC), Samir Swarup, Dir/HR and other senior officials of NLCIL at Neyveli on November 24, 2023. During the occasion, CMD, along with the Functional Directors, distributed medals to the winners of recently held State and District level skating competitions. The Skaters enthralled the gathering with a demonstration of their skating skills. CMD, NLCIL gave a motivational and encouraging speech to the Skaters present. The Cuddalore District Roller Skating Association, through their affiliated unit, has joined hands with Lignite City Club of NLCIL for development of this first-of-its-kind roller skating ground at Neyveli, which will give a fillip to the sport in the region.
