NIA is conducting searches at 16 locations across Assam, West Bengal and Kerala in a case involving Imam Mahmuder Kafila (IMK), described in reporting as a splinter/offshoot linked to Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh. Ten locations are in Assam, five in West Bengal and one in Kerala.
