Nidhi Khare appointed Special Secretary, Consumer Affairs

Ms Nidhi Khare has been appointed Special Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution by temporarily upgrading the post held by her in the rank and pay of Secretary to GoI. She will join as OSD, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development w e f December 1, 2023 and take over as Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development upon superannuation of Ajay Tirkey on December 31, 2013. She is a 1992 batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre.
