Nine IIS officers get new assignments

As many as nine officers of Indian Information Service (IIS) have been given new assignments. Accordingly, K Satish Nambudiripad has been appointed as DG, Doordarshan HQ, New Delhi, on the strength of PIB Chennai, while Ms Kanchan Prasad was made DG (M&C), PIB, Guwahati and Ms Padma Angmo is now ADG, CBC, New Delhi. Similarly, Santosh Kumar has been assigned an additional charge of ADG (M&C), PIB Jammu; Ms Jane Manchu as ADG (M&C), PIB, Kolkata; Ms Subhashree Mahapatra as Director, CBC, New Delhi; Ms Pragya Deora as Deputy Director in the office of the Minister of I&B; Ms Nishat Aziz as Assistant Director (News), NSD;AIR, New Delhi and Santosh V was made Assistant Director, CBC, New Delhi.
