No consensus on officer for Director, CBI at high level meeting; selection likely at next meeting

A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister did not reach a consensus on the name of IPS officer out of shortlisted names for the post of Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The selection of officer is expected to be made early next week .
