No decision on RSA

Railway has not decided to create a Railway Safety Authority (RSA) as suggested by Dr. Anil Kakodkar High Level Safety Review Committee. According to sources Railways is of the view that an independent institution Commissioner of Railway Safety already functions under the Ministry of Civil Aviation which discharges review/ approval of security aspect in Railways independently.
