No DGs for AIR and DD

The posts of Director Generals of AIR and Doordarshan have been lying vacant for almost a year. According to sources, applications were invited but nobody knows about their fate, whether they have been rejected or still pending. It has become a trend that the Prasar Bharti(PB) publishes notices to invite applications for various posts but one can never know the fate of the invited applications. PB invited applications for the post of the Member, Pers five times in three years. But nobody bothers in the PB to tell the reason for rejection and non selection.
