The Government of India has issued a list of 21 IPS officers of 2000 batch for the empanelment to hold the post of Inspector General of Police. In the list, there is no name of IPS officers from 13 cadres including four cadres having no eligible officers. The cadres include: AP, AM, CG, HP, Jharkhan

In the list, there is no name of IPS officers from 13 cadres including four cadres having no eligible officers. The cadres include: AP, AM, CG, HP, Jharkhand, Karnataka, MP, Manipur, Nagaland, Punjab, UP, Uttarakhand and WB.
