No IAS officer interested for CMD, CIL?

Whispers have it that no IAS officer appears to be interested in joining the race for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Coal India Limited (CIL) falling vacant on September 1, 2017.  Two IAS officers rendered their services to this post. Before this present incumbent, Sutirtha Bhattacharya, a 1985 batch IAS officer Telangana cadre, S Narsing Rao, a 1986 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, enjoyed this Additional Secretary level post of CMD.
