According to sources, there are remote chances that any senior IAS officer, posted on deputation in Delhi would move back to Andhra Pradesh. Presently five AP cadre IAS officers are holding Secretary posts in GoI. Preeti Sudan is Secretary , Health & Family Welfare, Neelam Sahani is Secretary, Social Welfare & Empowerment, Ajay Prakash Sahani is posted as Secretary, IT & Electronics, R Subramanyan, Secretary , Higher Education, MHRD and Dr Sameer Sharma, DG and CEO, IICA. Ms Sudan is a 1983 batch IAS officer while Sahani couple belong to 1984 batch and Suramanyam and Sr Sharma belong to 1985 batch IAS officers.
