No of shareholder Directors on Canara Bank Board to go down

Central Government is to raise its stake holding in Canara Bank to 72.55% from the current 66.30 per cent soon after its capital infusion. This would reduce the number of shareholders directors other than Government of India on the Bank’s Board from three to two.
