No recommendation for Awards from states to MHA

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) did not receive any recommendation from any state for the award of President's police medal for distinguished service and police medal of meritorious service to be given on I-Day 2022, till date. The MHA sent its first letter to States/UTs, Chiefs of CPOs and other related organisations on March 3, 2022 in this regard. The MHA has now sent a reminder to all concerned on April 28. The last date of receiving the recommendation is May 15, 2022.
