No regular DGP -Tripura gets one time relaxation for 25 yrs service to be DGP
The Supreme Court has given a one-time relaxation to the Tripura Government to consider officers having 25 years of service for becoming Director General of Police. There has been no regular DGP in Tripura since the retirement of Akhil Shukla and Additional DGP, Rajiv Singh (1993) is in-charge DGP.
