No representation of female IPS officers in DG empanelment

The Government of India issued a list of empanelment of 12+14 IPS officers of 1986 batch for holding Director General and Director General equivalent level posts respectively. No name of female IPS officer has featured in the list. Mrs D Rani Doley, who belongs to the same batch of Jammu & Kashmir cadre, could not be empanelled, due to her retirement while the name of Mrs Srilakshmi Prasad is missing in the list. Mrs Prasad, who belongs to the same batch of Tamil Nadu cadre, is due to retire next year in May.
