The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find a suitable candidate for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NTPC Limited after interviewing as many as 12 candidates for the same at the selection meeting held on May 21, 2025. The Board has recommended the concerned Ministry to choose a candidate through Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC).
