No SWEEP Observers were appointed by the ECI in 2019 elections. Their main job was to organise special programmes during campaigns to motivate voters to cast their votes and by this way voting percentage could increase. These Observers were appointed for the past few years, but this time ECI has given this responsibility to Distt Returning Officers (DROs) at the local level.
