No takers for CVOs

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) is trying to get DS/Director level officers for CVOs in CPSEs under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS). The first circular, inviting applications for CVOs, was issued on November 23, 2019. But the response is very poor. The nominations received so far are very minimal and as such the representation of officers from various cadres/services is extremely low. DoPT has again invited nomination from ministries/departments at the earliest.
