Now, a fake transfer order row in CBIC

The CBIC in a letter dated September 8, 2026 to DGGI, Hyderabad Zonal Unit has clarified that the reference to Office Order No. 07/2026 on transfer/posting stated to have been issued from Ad. IIB Section, CBIC appears to be fake. On examination, it has been found that no such order exists.

The CBIC directed that no action be taken on the basis of the aforesaid Office Order relating to the transfer of Arvind Kumar works at Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI), Hyderabad Zonal Unit in the grade of Commissioner to CRCL, New Delhi as per the Transfer Policy for Group 'A' officers until further orders.
