Now NSA Ajit Doval can attend Cabinet meetings

Previously, National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Kumar Doval could not attend the Cabinet meetings as a norm . Now he will also be in the meeting as Cabinet Minister. If S Jaishankar and Hardeep Puri, 1977 and 1974 batch former IFS officers, can attend Cabinet meetings, then why not Doval who is 1968 batch former IPS officer ? In the past,  P N Haxar, D P Dhar and M S Ahluwalia used to attend Cabinet meetings as Special Invitee.
