In a span of less than 14 years, the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has got its 12th civic Chief, this time in the form of Radhabinod Ariban Sharma, an IAS officer (2012 batch), who has assumed the charge. The coveted Commissioner’s post in the Corporation (MBMC) has been reduced to a game of musical chairs. Under the garb of routine transfers, none of the upright IAS officers including Vikram Kumar, followed by Suresh Kakan, BG Pawar and Dr Naresh Gite, were given an opportunity of completing their term. It will be interesting to see if Sharma manages to have an upper hand while administrating the corporation.
