‘NPS corpus equivalent to employees’ contribution as GPF not legally tenable

The Finance Ministry says that the demand for ‘NPS corpus equivalent to employees’ contribution to be transferred to government treasury and declared as GPF is not legally tenable in terms of PFRDA Act 2013 and also PFRDA (Exit and Withdrawal Regulations, 2015) as specified by PFRDA.
