NUPPL commences Mining Operations in Jharkhand

NUPPL Commences Mining Operations at Pachwara South Coal Block in Jharkhand Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited (NUPPL), a joint venture company between NLC India Limited (NLCIL) and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL), has successfully commenced initial mining operations at the Pachwara South Open Cast Project (PSOCP) in Dumka district of Jharkhand on December 19, 2025), marking a significant milestone in strengthening India’s energy security. The commencement of operations was held at Village Kundapahri, in the presence of all stakeholders, symbolizing the harmonious climate for the project.
