Odisha Govt carries out major IAS reshuffle

The Odisha Government has carried out a major reshuffle in the postings of IAS officers.Accordingly, Prem Chandra Chaudhary has been posted the new Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) with additional charge of Bhubaneswar Smart City CEO and BDA Vice Chairman, BMC Commissioner Samarth Verma has been posted as the new Collector and District Magistrate of Kendrapara replacing Prem C Chaudhary,Odisha State Medical Corporation Managing Director Archana Patnaik has been posted as Managing Director of Lift Irrigation Corporation Ltd. She will also hold additional charge of Special Secretary, Water Resources Department. Yamini Sarangi will replace Ms Patnaik as Managing Director, Odisha State Medical Corporation, Surendra Kumar Meena, MD OLIC has been posted as Secretary Board of Revenue, Cuttack, Niranjan Sahu, who was Additional Secretary to Chief Minister, will be the Director, Higher Education with additional charge of Labour Commissioner, Prasanta Kumar Senapati has been posted as the new Inspector General of Registration; while Dasarathi Satpathy will serve as Secretary of Odisha Legislative Assembly, Technical Education and Training Director Nirmal Chandra Mishra has been shifted as Director, Tourism with additional charge of OTDC Managing Director replacing Bibhuti Bhusan Patnaik, who has been posted as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Anjan Kumar Manik has been appointed as the new Excise Commissioner; while Tribikram Pradhan has been posted as Additional Secretary of Excise Department,Cuttack Collector Aravind Agrawal has been posted as Director, Social Welfare, W & CD and Mission Shakti Department, and CEO, OMBADC. Bhabani Shankar Chayani has been posted as Collector, Cuttack. He will also hold the additional charge of Vice Chairman, CDA, Ananya Das has been appointed as Commissioner of Cuttack Municipal Corporation, Sarat Chandra Nayak has been appointed as the Additional Secretary of Health & Family Welfare Department, Khordha Collector Bhupendra S Poonia will now hold the position of State Project Director, OPEPA, with additional charge of Director, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan and SPD, RMSA, Bhubaneswar.  Sitansu Kumar Rout will replace Poonia as the new Collector of Khordha district, Jagatsinghpur District Magistrate Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar has been posted as Joint Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department. Sangram Keshari Mohapatra will take charge as Collector, Jagatsinghpur, Reghu G will has been posted as Director, Technical Education & Training, while Surendra Kumar Meena will be Secretary, Board of Revenue, Md. Abdaal Akhtar will now serve as Project Director DRDA, Cuttack, K Sudarshan Chakravarthy is the new Collector of Balasore district, while Poma Tudu will be posted as Collector, Koraput, Madhusmita Sahoo has been posted as Collector of Nuapada district while Lalatendu Mishra is the new District Magistrate of Boudh, Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan has been posted as the new Collector of Jharsuguda district, Jyoti Prakash Das has been posted as Director, Textiles with additional charge of MD Boyanika, Krupasindhu Mishra is the new Director, Information & Public Relations. He replaces Laxmidhar Mohanty, who has been shifted to Higher Education Department as Additional Secretary, Bibhuti Bhusan Das will be Additional Secretary in Revenue & DM department while Ramesh Chandra Rout has been posted as Director, ESI .
