The ACC has approved the empanelment of officers for promotion to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner/Principal Director General of Customs and Central Excise in the Indian Revenue Service (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs). The officers empanelled in the Supplementary Panel the year 2020 are: Ashok Kumar Mehta, Ranjana Jha and Gollamudi Venkata Krishna Rao. The officers empanelled in the panel for 2021 are: Bharati S Chavan, Naresh Penumaka, H R Bheema Shankar, Vinod Kumar Saxena and Rajiv Talwar. Officers in the extended panel, to be operated in the event officers included in the regular panel are not available for promotion due to retirement, are: Alok Tewari, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal and Mallika Arya.
