Out of total around 72 officers, 25 empanelled as DG in GoI

As many as 25 IPS officers of 1988 batch out of around 72 have been empanelled for holding Director General and Director General equivalent posts in Government of India. Last year, 15 IPS officers of 1987 batch out of around 67 were empanelled.
