Paban Kumar Borthakur is new Chief Secretary, Assam

Paban Kumar Borthakur has been appointed as Chief Secretary of Assam. Borthakur, who belongs to a 1989 batch IAS officer, will serve as OSD in Chief Secretary office till the retirement of present incumbent Jishnu Barua on August 31, 2022.
