Parliamentary Committee recommends increase of IAS intake

The Parliamentary Standing Committee has recommended to the DoPT to raise annual intake of IAS officers. The Standing Committee is of the view that non-IAS officers are being appointed to cadre posts in violation of IAS cadre rules.
