PB: a Headless & crippled Board

Prasar Bharati Board is now a days passing through its worst days. Presently the Board is Headless. Out of six, five part time members posts are vacant, two ex-officio members posts are also vacant and on top of this Member (Pers) post is lying vacant since February 2017. Chairman, Prasar Bharati retired three months ago. Since then new Head has not been appointed. Presently the Board has only CEO, Member (Finance) and a Representative of MIB. The general superintendence, direction and management of the affairs of Prasar Bharati are vested in the Prasar Bharati Board. One can imagine the state of affairs in PB without a complete Board.
