At a review meeting for Programme Cadre in Prasar Bharti, it has been decided that DG, AIR would be sending a proposal to MIB to revise the promotion orders for grant of consequential benefits to the officers promoted as JTS by as per DPC/Review DPC conducted by UPSC for the vacancy years 1990-91 to 1992-93 (Review DPC) and 1993-94 to 1999-2000 (Regular DPC). Based on the decision of MIB, action in respect of vacancy years 2000-01 onwards, can also be taken. However, the process of conducting DPCs should go on without linking to decision of MIB in the matter. The DPCs from years 2000-01 onwards shall be completed within October 2018.
