PM Modi addresses the youth again through social media

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday released another video message across his official accounts on X and Instagram following the successful passage of the Public Examination Bill. The short video is part of a new communication style adopted by the Prime Minister, who has in recent weeks shared three to four such video messages on social media to address the youth of the country directly on issues of national importance. Reports also indicate that he has encouraged his ministers to actively engage with the younger generation through platforms such as Instagram and X.

In his latest message, the Prime Minister said that the legislation reflects suggestions received from the states and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the country’s examination system. He assured that fast-track courts would deal with examination-related offences and that those involved in question paper leaks and other malpractices would face stringent punishment. Stressing that the government would continue to strengthen the legal framework against such crimes, Mr. Modi said the objective is to ensure that India’s examination system remains fair, transparent, and free from tampering.
