PM Modi to virtually inaugurate important projects in PM GatiShakti

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually open and lay the foundation stone of many important projects in UP, Bihar, Assam and W Bengal on January 13 in PM GatiShakti. He will inaugurate the longest River Cruise & Waterways Development Projects in UP. PM will flag off River Cruise 'MV Ganga Vilas' at Ravidas Ghat, Varanasi. The cruise covering 3200 km through 27 rivers in 51 days will cross 50 major tourist sites, including some heritage sites. PM Modi will also inaugurate Community Jetties in UP (Saidpur, Chochakpur, Zamaniya, Kanspur) and lay foundation stones for Community Jetties in Bihar (Digha, Naktadiyara, Panapur, Barh, Hasanpur). He will inaugurate Multi-Modal Terminal at Haldia, W Bengal, which has a capacity of 3.07 MPTA and is Gateway for PM GatiShakti Multi-Modal Connectivity. The PM will open the Maritime Skill Development Centre for North East at Guwahati. He will lay the foundation stone for the ship repair centre at Pandu (Guwahati) and for the elevated road connecting MMT Pandu and NH 27. Sanjay Bandopadhyay 1988 batch IAS officer of MP cadre is the Chairman of the Inland Waterways Authority of India.
