Policy for repowering of wind power projects revised

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has revised the earlier policy for repowering of the Wind Power Projects and issued a new National Repowering and Life Extension Policy for Wind Power Projects-2023. The objective of the revised policy is optimum utilisation of wind energy resources by maximising energy (kWh) yield and utilising the latest state-of-the-art onshore wind turbine technologies.
