In a get-together of the journalists there was an interesting discussion as to who is the most powerful journalist or Media baron  in India? During half an hour informal talks so many names cropped  but the conclusion was "In this NDA Government none ".

BJP high command facing piquant situation in selecting next state chief in Karnataka?

BJP national leadership is on a tight spot while picking up the next BJP chief in Karnataka. The state-level senior leaders are not showing much interest in holding the position on account of the stiff challenges the new chief would face in resurrecting  the party’s fortunes after the massive drubbing in the recently concluded Assembly polls. The new President will also be burdened with finding the resources in running the party for the next five years. The party is bracing itself for the next Parliament election and hence, is conscious of the fact that the chosen President must be able to take everyone along. The party faced major dissidence from leaders of influential communities like Lingayat and Vokkaliga.
