Karnataka Vidhan Sabha election on religious grounds ?

It is said that next Vidhan Sabha election will be on religious ground and the slogan will be comparison of Lord Hanuman and Tipu Sultan .

My Respected Friend... retired Senior Bureaucrat...is in Delhi and we meet at a Coffee House in CP and over Coffees and Cheese Cutlets we get chatting.

Me: Sir this verdict by the CBI Court in the 2 G matter....its shaken many...

Respected Friend :  It should..... 80000 Page Chargesheet... smoking guns like... preponement of cut off date...First come First serve policy...and 1 hour to submit Drafts and some Bidders doing the needful in record time as if they had Drafts ready in advance...but seems the Learned Judge in his Wisdom found no substance in these allegations....or maybe the CBI failed to tie these up to Corruption..or the Prosecutor failed to convince the Judge and/or Defence were able to defend..

M: SC too had the same Documents and SC saw jiggery-pokkery and cancelled the Licenses... could it be because of the  convincing powers of the Lawyer representing Government  in SC..... whereas could be the SC appointed Prosecutor have failed to impress the Trial Court..

RF: It'll be said that SC did not examine Witnesses whereas Trial Court did....but the SC would not have acted if the documentary evidence was refutable ...

M: Its said the Charge Sheet was filed in 2012...when CBI was called Congress Bureau of Investigation...... so it could be possible the Charge Sheet was fixed so that Charges would trip and fall in Trial Court when evidence was presented..in 2014 couldn't have CBI filed a supplementary Charge Sheet..

RF: No that's not possible...SC: mandated the 2G investigation...monitored the 2G investigation.....directed the prosecution.....appointed Amicus Curiae......Amicus Curiae monitored entire CBI proceedings.

RF:  Another issue that created doubts was the Notional Loss ...CAG opined 1.76 lac crores... CBI watered it down to 30,000 crore.... the truth is...1,76,000 crore loss was NOT notional. Spectrum auctioned under Modi Government  in March 2015 fetched 1,09,874 crore (67.8% higher than reserve price) and 65,789 crore in March 2016. Total of 1,75,663 crore. Even valuation of 2G auctioned under Modi Government  rose by 10%...

M: So Sibal's 0 loss theory been trashed via the Auction results... and I hear on First Come First Serve Sibal in an earlier case had trashed it terming it as a Barbaric step..so what about the Political fallout of this 2G Verdict..

RF: The Judgement has pointed to shortcomings of PMO when MMS ji was PM....Congress is just scoring self goals as of now... this Judgement also shows BJP Government does not meddle in working of Judiciary....

M: The CBI had messed up 1984 Genocide  cases and 30 years on the cases still languish in Courts...ditto job seems to have been done for 2 G....otherwise how do you explain...the 2G ( allotment and auction) revenue during UPA and during NDA!! Both 1984 and 2G fixing on whose behest...do I need to even name!!!

RF: So now this Judgement will be tested in a higher Court.... it'll  take another 7 years... and then SC....so in all probability Raja and Kani would be in Dentures when the final verdict is delivered..

M: Unless the Court fast-tracks the case...and HC gives its verdict before 2019...

RF: Fast forwarding ...I feel ... both HC and SC will convict them...

M: Now let us see if we get another shock on December 23...Laloo case!!!

RF: Ramchandra keh gaye Siya se aisa Kalyug aaye ga..... Kanoon ko Kanoon hee nahi samajh paaye ga...
