Mallikarjuna Kharge is the president of the Congress for the last one year. But he has not been invited by any foreign country whereas the party leader Rahul Gandhi has visited 3 countries and addressed the gatherings in Universities and other institutions. Even the party arranged programmes for Rahul. Now the question is being asked: who is important for the party?

Karnataka: One more BJP Leader set to quit party?

Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) vice-president Tejaswini Ananth Kumar and state Congress chief D.K. Shivakumar have raised curiosity in the Karnataka political circles. Tejaswini, the widow of former Union minister and veteran BJP leader Ananth Kumar, was not even given a ticket by the party for this year’s assembly election in Karnataka. Tejaswini also runs an NGO, Adamya Chetana, in south Bengaluru which provides mid-day meals to around one lakh school children every day.
