Modi has specific plans for Tamil Nadu for 2024, it is anybody’s guess

The main venue of the G20 summit is named as Bharat Mandapam and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had in a tweet said that the magnificent Nataraja statue at Bharat Mandapam brings to life aspects of our rich history and culture. It is sculpted by the famous sculptor Radhakrishnan Sthapathy of Tamil Nadu. Modi, in his speech in the Parliament during the No Confidence debate on August 10, mentioned Tamil Nadu at least 9 times. He also referred to Katchatheevu Island, a small island beyond the coast of Tamil Nadu, that was given to Sri Lanka in 1974. Also, 20 Tamil Nadu pontiffs were invited during the inauguration of new Parliament building. According to the political analysts, the BJP's aim is to carve out its own organic identity in Tamil Nadu and at the core of this lies an ideological battle. The party plans to challenge the DMK from an ideological point of view and not just politically. And it is said that the recent remark of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's son Udhayanidhi Stalin in connection with the Sanatan Dharma was in response to the BJP’s strategy.

Will there be no winter session of Parliament?

Grapevine has it that after this Special Session the winter session of the Parliament is unlikely to be held.
