When will High Level Committee (HLC) on ‘One Nation – One Election’ submit its report?
The High-Level Committee constituted to give a report on holding simultaneous Parliament and Assembly polls in the country is working speedily and the question is whether the committee would submit its report before the Parliamentary polls in the country? Ram Nath Kovind, Chairman of the High-Level Committee (HLC), and its members namely Dr N K Singh and Sanjay Kothari held personal interactions with Ramdas Athawale, President of Republican Party of India (Athawale). The HLC also had interactions with Pankaj Kumar Gupta, National Secretary and Jasmine Shah, senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party. The committee has met many political leaders including D Raja CPI earlier. The committee is compiling the opinions from the political spectrum. .
