Sam Pitroda seems to be closest person with Rahul Gandhi. This is evident from the fact that he was seen accompanying Rahul Gandhi in Baharin and his mention in public speech.

Chhattisgarh- 14 years of trailblazing development under Dr, Raman Singh

Not only Chhattisgarh had been on an aggressive development trajectory for the past 14 years. the vision of State Chief Minister Raman Singh has also helped the state achieve many milestones in all sectors. The Chief Minister’s efforts have put the State on global map of rapidly developing State.

The State, due to the unstinted efforts of the Chief Minister has transitioned from being an Agrarian State to one of the most rapidly developing states in infrastructure development while making tremendous progress in all other fields. Many Chhattisgarh’s development models are now even imbibed by other States.

Some of the key achievements of the State during the long and successful ongoing tenure of Raman Singh include - huge jump in Agri produce arrivals, end of Inspector Raj, establishment of 14,976 micro and small and medium units with an investment of Rs 3,77,130 crore providing direct employment to around 1.50 lakh persons.

During the last 14 years, 1,123 investors submitted IEMs worth Rs 13.34 lakh crore making Chhattisgarh second in the country to have drawn such level of investor interest.

My neighbour drops in for a Cuppa. He's a businessman but now in semi retirement. Over Coffee and Gajar ka Halwa and Til Gajjak (type of Chikki) we get chatting.

Neighbour:  Kaleje mein tandh padhi...

Me: SC has ordered re-investigation in 186  1984 cases.... we know post 1984 investigations were botched  up and now 33 years have passed...many victims and witnesses have passed away... some gone into depression..some gone senile....some migrated...

N: In 1984 cases .... such a delay... Justice delayed is Justice slayed!!

M: If SIT gives credence to circumstantial evidence ....then there is a chance some justice is possible...

N: I know its a very touchy subject with you...

M: Witnessed it... seen victims literally wither away... so much anti Sikh venom was injected into the system that every Sikh became an extremist..midflight if you got up to retrieve something from your bag in the overhead hold you could literally hear people gasp... that bad it was!!

At Airports they made you feel like a Terrorist. Average wait at Emmigration if you were flying in or out was an hour...questioning...insults.... threadbare baggage checks... hateful looks...we've borne it all!!

N: You've penned a book .... a story based on 1984 Genocide!! Waiting for my Copy!!

M: Its completed... Shukkar (thanksgiving).....soon ...soon.....trying to find a Publisher....writing this book literally drained me...  emotions and tears!!

N: What shocks me is despite what took place and Congress's role... still Sikhs voted for Congress in Delhi and brought Shiela Dixit to power in Delhi .....thrice.... voted Congress to power in Punjab..

M: Shocked ...... unfathomable cruelty and such short memories... sad so sad....

N: Boss you really getting too serious... scaring me....let me change your mood!! Mamtha getting a D.Lit.....

M: She had got a questionable D. Lit from US and was itching for a credible D. Lit... so in steps Calcutta University.. which depends on her Government for funds but oddly is called autonomous!!! Oxford has to invent a new word for such automoumousness!!

N: Leash Autonomy... ha ha... imagine this University has given Honarary Degrees to likes of Tagore...Mandela ....what a come down... Mamtha...she deserves a D. Loud not a D.Lit......Boss you've still not come out of your pain ...can see it in your face...

M: You are a good soul so you can see and feel my pain.... for the others Gulzar has said.... jabh bhi udaas ho toh roh lo, chehra padhna bhool gaye hai logh...
